Are you a young woman who is an inspiring and exciting celebration of achievement, talent and imagination? Are you someone who provides unique and exemplary contributions to your school and community?  If so, the Miss Achievement Newfoundland and Labrador Scholarship Program is looking for YOU!

We provide a life-changing personal development experience, and as a participant you will be part of a stellar program that educates, motivates and encourages.  You will gain the ability to analyze you strengths and weaknesses, set and achieve personal goals and develop leadership and public speaking skills.  The Program also provides young women with a voice and avenue to promote causes most dear to their hearts.

There are thousands of dollars in educational up for grabs at Miss Achievement Newfoundland and Labrador.  

Our Scholarship Program will be held from November 16-19, 2017 and is open to young women between the ages of 13-18.  Participants must be 13 years of age by the first day of the competition and no older than 18 by December 31 of the competition year.

IMPORTANT NOTE: 

Entry into the Talent Competition is optional and not counted towards a participant's final score.  Simply send us a video of your performing art: singing, dancing, playing a musical instrument or theatrical performance (maximum 4 minutes). All videos will be adjudicated by a panel of judges, and three finalists will be selected to perform live at the Scholarship Gala on Sunday, November 19, 2017. The overall Talent Competition winner will be announced at the Gala.The three finalists will be notified in advance of our Miss Achievement Newfoundland and Labrador Scholarship weekend. You must email your video to: [email protected] by November 1, 2017.  NO EXCEPTIONS!



PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT INFORMATION PERTAINING TO YOUR HONORS AND AWARDS, SCHOOL TEAMS, AND COMMUNITY GROUPS YOU ARE INVOLVED WITH, IS NOT USED FOR JUDGING PURPOSES. THIS INFORMATION IS USED TO COMPILE IMPROMPTU QUESTIONS SHOULD YOU BE SELECTED FOR THE TOP 10. INFORMATION PROVIDED FOR YOUR VOLUNTEER/CHARITY WORK IS PROVIDED TO OUR JUDGES FOR THE PURPOSE OF DETERMINING THE WINNER OF THE VOLUNTEER ACTIVITY AWARD.

(a)  A recent headshot color or black and white for the program book and promotional poster.  Photos must be emailed to: [email protected] Please ensure photos are provided in a high quality jpg. file format of no less than 600 dpi. Photos must be emailed by the competition deadline (October 16, 2017).

(b) The entry fee is $350

A $50 deposit must accompany your application or you can choose to pay the entire $350 entry fee.

 If you are only sending your deposit, the remaining $300 must be paid by November 1, 2017.

(c) Copy of your birth certificate as proof of age

  Miss Achievement Newfoundland and Labrador is an Incorporated, not-for-profit scholarship program. We provide the province's largest scholarship program for young women, which awards individuals for academics, promotion of healthy living, public speaking, community service, volunteer work, environmental awareness and performance-related talents.

  •   Since 2006 we've awarded over $85,000 in scholarships. Juliette Dupre, Julia Hiscock, Beth Peddle, Kayla Carroll, Kora Liegh Russell, Jenna Kelly, Kandice Power and Mackenzie Dove, have together received nearly $600,000 in educational scholarships since winning their respective titles.
